THE ROLE


You will respond to queries and provide legally compliant, and financially sound, advice to clients by telephone, live chat and other media on wide ranging areas. You will provide advice and information which supports the needs of the individual and is mindful of the wider implications to them. You must also be able to identify and ensure emotional support is arranged as appropriate.

DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES


1) To provide legal or financial Information to callers within set SLAs, KPIs and time frames.

2) To always be available to take incoming calls / live chats.

3) Produce additional information in email, fact sheet or document format where appropriate.

4) To identify areas of learning and ensuring necessary research and self-learning take place in areas of development.

5) Working as part of team to ensure the smooth running of the wider EAP function.

6) Take part in individual one-to-ones, monthly team meetings, and bi-annual reviews.

7) To demonstrate an ability to work with a variety of individuals and presenting issues, including those who are distressed.

8) Demonstrate an ability to work with employers and to provide information in relation to their enquiry.

9) To show general understanding in a wide range of legal and financial areas, including but not limited to: Family Law, Commercial Law, Criminal Law, Consumer Law, Wills & Probate, Property & Housing, Civil Law and Procedure, Eldercare / Childcare, Motoring and Land Law.

10) Work on other projects and schemes as required.

11) Demonstrate the ability to always provide excellent customer service.

12) As a role/task adhering to the ISO approved policies and procedures.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM


1) Working knowledge of a wide range of legal and financial matters.

2) An undergraduate degree in law with a minimum award of 2:2 or a Graduate Diploma in Law at commendation or above.

3) Ability to prioritise and work unsupervised as required, but also relishes in working as part of a team.

4) Excellent communication and written skills.

5) Ability to provide great customer service and enjoy helping people.

6) Open minded, enthusiastic, and non-judgemental.

7) Ability to work with telephony and IT systems.
